So you've heard that beer is good for your hair, but did you know
it's great for your skin as well? Turns out that the sediments in ale
(also called brewer's yeast) are a
bacteria-eating tour de force packed with nutrients like riboflavin,
panthothenic acid, biotin, and lots of B vitamins. Since beer is made
primarily with hops, the properties and benefits of
this herb become part of the soap. Hops are known to soothe irritated
skin and contain skin softening amino acids. We’ve found that beer adds a
great lather to the soap we make. It’s even nice to shave with.
This soap is made with home-brewed ale and scented with a warm, exotic and manly blend of sandalwood, amber, musk and vanilla with notes of tobacco and bay. You won’t smell like a beer-–you’ll just feel it’s extra skin softening benefits.
Each 4 oz bar contains:
- Saponified olive, coconut, soy, palm, and macadamia nut oils
- Shea butter
- Home-brewed amber ale
